FlexPlex.Navigator module renders a highly configurable set of links based on the page structure of DotNetNuke portal. Page security permissions, date restrictions, as well as disabled and visible properties are respected and navigator links are rendered accordingly.
Features Highlights
- Navigator will default to building links based on current page, but it can be configured to use a specific page, or the root of your site/portal.
- Any number of columns can be configured for the Navigator.
- Page description is shown when you hover over a Navigator link.
(Can be disabled in module settings)
- FlexPlex.Navigator is fully localized. If your preferred language is not English, all you need to do is provide appropriate resource files.
- ViewState can be disabled to conserve bandwidth and increase page load speed.
- Optionally, page icons can be shown instead or in addition to page titles.
- Number of child links can be limited to a predetermined number with ‘More…’ link at the end of the list, which points to the parent page. (With the assumption that parent page contains another instance of FlexPlex.Navigator which shows all child pages behavior similar to Yahoo! Directory).
- Module settings can be imported/exported for individual module instances or when portal template is imported/exported.
